Under normal circumstances, pets take a certain duration to hatch. This may vary according to rarities and early community limited edition drops (Gen 0 pets)
Only Gen 0 pets are of the dragon series. Subsequent generations may not have the species/ rarities.

Pet Egg Hatching System
SSR/ UR (Super Super Rare, Ultra Rate)
SSR/ UR Eggs have different animation form than standard rarity eggs. This yields pets that have unique characteristics, able to unlock additional levels/ stats. But tend to be alot more stubborn and take more time / resources to train.
