# Pet Egg NFTs and Rarity

Eggs can be obtained via the following ways:

* AR Treasure hunt (RNG basis)
* Gacha (RNG basis)
* Limited edition releases - Founders' Edition (SR and SSR rarities only)
* Aftersales market

Under normal circumstances, pets take a certain duration to hatch. This may vary according to rarities and early community limited edition drops (Gen 0 pets)

**Only Gen 0 pets are of the dragon series.** Subsequent generations may not have the species/ rarities.

**SSR/ UR (Super Super Rare, Ultra Rate)**&#x20;

SSR/ UR Eggs have different animation form than standard rarity eggs. This yields pets that have unique characteristics, able to unlock additional levels/ stats. But tend to be alot more stubborn and take more time / resources to train.&#x20;
