# 5 Elements: Pets and Avatar

NFT Pets come in 5 different elements. This can be seen from the egg colour and animation (rarity too - seen below/ previous page)

In a team setup: Complementary pairings will give stats bonus. Conflicting pairings may lead to sub-optimal stats.

This applies to attacking opposing enemies/ bosses/ player teams as well.

## Elemental Advantages

There will be an elemental advantage over each in this order. Percentage damage/ defense over the other will be in addition to equipment, base defense etc.&#x20;
